Watch Your Mouth Wendy

Not too long ago talk show Wendy Williams talked about Snoop Dogg winning #1 gospel album and when she talked about it she brought up gospel legends The Clark Sisters (Jackie, Twinkie, Dorinda,and Karen). Wendy Williams through all types of shade at the legendary group.

If you know me, you know I am a Clark Sisters Fanatic. I was so angry at Wendy. The bible says "anger but sin not", so I had to watch myself when she had some words to say. Well I wasn't the only one angry. Wendy made a whole lot of fans and celebrities on social media where angry when she spoke on the Clark Sisters. The Clark Sisters stayed quiet but that didn't mean others didn't. Social Media star NotKarltonBanks posted a video on his Instagram defending the Clark Sisters, gospel singer Kierra Sheard, who is the daughter of First Lady and gospel legend Karen Clark-Sheard (a member of the Clark Sister) and the niece of all the other Clark Sisters posted on Instagram all of the Clark Sisters Achievement. Rapper and music producer Missy Elliott also commented and came to the defense of the legendary group.

Wendy Williams had really crossed a line. I don't know if she understands that the Clark Sisters broke barriers, created a new way of music, and influence and inspired tons of artist such as: Faith Evans, Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary Mary, Kierra Sheard, Xscape, and etc. Because of the backlash, she has asked if the Clark Sisters could be a guess on her show and perform their hit "You Brought the Sunshine".

The Sisters haven't answered. They have sent out thanks and love to all the people who stood up and defended them.
