The Grammy's is an award show that honors the best in music. Here are some of the gospel/christian singers who were nominated. I'm going to give a brief description of the person.
Best Gospel Performance/Song

Tina Campbell - Too Hard Not Too
Tina Campbell is a 43 year old gospel singer. She was a former member of the urban gospel duo Mary Mary along with her older sister Erica Campbell (who is also a gospel singer). Tina is the wife of gospel drummer and singer Teddy Campbell, they have five children. Tina just released an album call
"It's Still Personal" where you can find the song Too Hard Not Too which is about forgiving. She has already won two Grammy's while being in Mary Mary. If she wins this year, this will be her first Grammy as a solo artist.

J.J. Hairston & Youthful Praise - You Deserve It
This is a beautiful song, it talks about giving God all the praise because he deserve it. We owe God everything. J.J. is the choir director and composer of the choir Youthful Praise. The choir is from Bridgeport , Connecticut. One of my favorite songs by the choir is "Incredible God, Incredible Praise". If they win, it will be their first Grammy.

Le'Andria Johnson - Better Days
Le'Andria first came onto the scenes as a contestant on BET gospel singing composition Sunday's Best. She was the winner of season 3. Le'Andria has amazing songs. This song "Better Days" is amazing, this song really had helped me after my uncle was killed. If she wins this will be her second Grammy.

The Walls Group - My Life
The Walls Group (Darrel, Rhea, Paco, Ahjah) is a group of four young adult siblings who always give praise to their heavenly father. They are so talented. I listen to their music all the time, they are very encouraging to young people and teenagers. Their song "My Life" which comes from their new album "The Other Side" is about telling the haters they can't run your life because they didn't lay down their life for yours. That you will be great because God made you great. If they win this will be their first Grammy.

CeCe Winans - Never Have to Be Alone
Priscilla "CeCe" Winans is one of the living legend gospel singers. She is best known for working with her older brother BeBe in their group BeBe & CeCe. CeCe winans has many great songs, many have come from being in the brothrt-sister duo and being solo. "Never Have to Be Alone" is such a comforting and smooth song. The song let's you know God is going to always be there. If she wins this will be her 11th Grammy.
Best Gospel Album

Travis Greene - Crossover: Live From Music City
Travis Greene got recognition from his two hit songs "Intentional" and "Made A Way". He is such an inspirational and humble musician and singer. He is very talented. I love his new song "You Waited". If he wins this will be his first Grammy.

Le'Andria Johnson - Bigger Than Me
Le'Andria is nominated for another category. If she wins this it will be either her second or third (if she also wins Best Gospel Song).

Marvin Sapp - Close
Marvin Sapp is a phenomenal singer. He is my favorite male singer. Marvin has topped the charts with plenty of songs like "Never Would've Made It", "Best in Me", "My Testimony" and many more. This new album Close has amazing songs. My favorites from his new album are "Close", "Listen" (ft. R. Kelly), and "You & Me Together" (ft. Erica Campbell & Izze Williams). If he wins this will be his very first Grammy.

Anita Wilson - Sunday Song
Anita Wilson is a talented singer. I just love her style and sound. She has a smooth voice. My favorite songs by her "Jesus Will" , "You Love Me (Best of My Love)" & from her new album "I've Seen Him Work". This woman is one talented lady. If she wins this will be her first Grammy.

Cece Winans - Let Them Fall In Love
CeCe Winans, always have been amazing. She was nominated for another award. I love this album right here. My favorite sons from the album are "Never Have to Be Alone" & "Hey Devil!" (ft. The Clark Sisters). If she wins she will have 11 or 12 Grammys (if she also win Best Gospel Song).
